Administrative staff – 5 books, 30 days

PhD students – 10 books, 30 days

Graduate students – 5 books, 30 days

Loan and Returns

Staff ID card (or official letter showing that you are staff) student ID card or document is required during the loan process. During the borrowing process, please keep your ID cards with you and show them to the desk clerk.

Borrowed publications must be returned within the return period. A delay fee determined by the Management is charged for each publication that has exceeded the return period, and the user who delays the periodic book return 3 times cannot borrow books for 6 months.

If the user has a publication that has exceeded the return period, or if the user has an unpaid delay fee, new publications cannot be borrowed without returning the publications and paying the delay fee.

Extension Process

If the borrowed publication is not reserved, it can be extended 2 more times for the same period. For the extension process, you can come to the Loan Desk with the publication. In addition, academic staff, administrative staff, doctoral and master's, undergraduate and associate degree students can also perform the extension by logging into a Private Login. No extension will be made for an expired publication. If you have an overdue publication, it is not possible to extend it to other publications whose refund is not delayed.

Booking Process

You can make reservations for the publications on loan. In your private session, a reservation button will appear for the items on loan, you can make the reservation by clicking this button, or you can come to the Loan Desk to make the reservation. When the publication is returned, it will be held for 3 days on your behalf. If you have an e-mail address registered in our system, the system will notify you via e-mail when the publication you have reserved is returned.

Use of Borrowed Publication

Borrowed publications should be used with care and should not be worn out.

Worn and Lost Publication Procedure

In the event that the borrowed publication is worn out or lost, the worn or lost publication is first procured from the market, if it is documented that this is not possible, the value of the publication determined by the Management is taken. In addition, the accrued late fee is charged.

Other Considerations

Information about who is on a publication and what publications are on a user is not given to anyone other than the user himself. Please do not put the officer in a difficult situation in this regard.

Reference resources and theses are not borrowed, they are used in the library. Illustrated art books and medical atlases in the general collection are also not lent.

When necessary, the Department may request the publication back from the user before the return period expires.
