To open an Ithenticate and Turnitin account, write your Name, Surname, Department and your current staff to [………@akdeniz.edu. tr], you can send an e-mail to “mutlukaancoskun@akdeniz.edu.tr” from your e-mail address.

Usage: It is used to control student homework and theses, and to prevent plagiarism and illegal quotations. Accounts can be created for this program only on behalf of academics.
* Your account information will be sent from [noreply@turnitin.com] to your corporate address with [akdeniz.edu.tr] extension.
* Since the program is web-based, you can use it by logging in from any computer or mobile device with an internet connection.
* You can create your account information and password by clicking the “Get Started” link in the mail that comes from [noreply@turnitin.com] with the heading “A new Turnitin account has been created for you”.
*The program consists of 1-ADD CLASS, 2-ADD HOMEWORK and 3-UPLOAD and 4- PRINT the document by selecting the "send" option from the "more operations" menu in the homework section. Responds within 30 minutes on average.
* When you want to delete the documents you have uploaded, use the "request permanent deletion" option.
* When creating assignments, select "Submit assignments to" as "no warehouse". If you do not set the "no storage" setting, if you scan the document you uploaded before, it will be similar to the first uploaded document and the rate will be very high.
* You can add a shortcut button to the top left of the page for the post with the “Enable/Send User Information / Quick Send” action.

WARNING!
In accordance with the license agreement, through the iThenticate system;
– For article checking only.
– Student assignments, projects and theses should not be checked.
– Editors can only use it for scanning documents sent to Akdeniz University publications.
-Usage rates are reported monthly. Accounts scanning documents other than articles are disabled. When our editors make an editorial* notification, a quota for scanning different articles is recognized.

Akdeniz University academics and students who want to use the Academic Plagiarism (www.intihal.net) Program, which is used to determine the similarity rates of academic publications such as theses, articles, assignments, papers, and projects, can register with the INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATION option and become the administrator. After approval, https://app.intihal.net can log in to the system.
Institutional e-mail addresses (...@akdeniz.edu.tr,… @ogr.akdeniz.edu.tr) must be used in account applications.
